The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for Health Systems & Payer Strategy will serve as the Medical Affairs scientific expert for various stakeholders including payers, health systems, Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs), specialty pharmacies, medical directors, pharmacy leadership, formulary committees, and population health managers. This role involves developing and executing strategic engagement plans aligned with Medical Affairs objectives and compliant scientific exchange. The MSL will conduct medical-to-medical exchanges on disease states, clinical evidence, real-world evidence, health economics, outcomes, treatment pathways, guidelines, unmet needs, and access-related considerations. They will also respond to unsolicited medical/scientific inquiries and capture actionable insights on payer evidence needs, formulary considerations, utilization management, treatment pathways, access barriers, patient journey challenges, and market trends. The position supports payer-focused medical resources, value-based scientific materials, advisory boards, and evidence-generation initiatives. The MSL is expected to maintain expertise in assigned disease areas, company products, competitor products, clinical data, and relevant compliance requirements, while also documenting all stakeholder engagements and activities.
