The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) will be responsible for acquiring and maintaining an advanced level of clinical-scientific knowledge in the assigned therapeutic area(s) and/or disease state(s) related to CSL Behring’s products. This role involves maintaining a basic level of clinical-scientific knowledge about the broader portfolio of CSL Behring’s products and the diseases they treat. The MSL will accurately and compliantly interpret and disseminate balanced and factual scientific, clinical, and health economic data. They will also gather and evaluate new information as it applies to CSL Behring’s products and areas of therapeutic interest. A key responsibility is to identify and engage appropriate regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) in objective-based interactions to develop professional relationships and exchange clinical-scientific information. The MSL will provide information regarding CSL Behring’s Investigator Study (IIS) program process in response to unsolicited requests and monitor and communicate progress for those IISs approved and supported. Additionally, the role involves gathering, translating, and communicating actionable, strategy-aligned insights from scientific, educational, and conference setting interactions. The MSL will deliver approved educational programs to relevant healthcare audiences and attend scientific and medical meetings. They will also deliver approved educational programs and training to relevant internal functions.
