About The Position

We are seeking a Medical Scheduler to join a fast-paced healthcare office environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who thrives in a structured setting and enjoys working directly with patients. You will be responsible for managing patient scheduling, handling inbound calls, and supporting front office operations while ensuring a positive patient experience.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills with a professional, friendly demeanor
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment (medical, retail, hospitality, or call center)
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of calls
  • Strong attention to detail and work ethic
  • Comfortable using computers and navigating multiple systems

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a healthcare or medical office setting
  • Medical scheduling or patient registration experience
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
  • Call center experience

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments efficiently
  • Handle approximately 50+ calls per day in a high-volume environment
  • Assist with patient check-in and check-out as needed
  • Verify patient information, including insurance and billing details
  • Direct patient questions and concerns to appropriate providers or departments
  • Support billing-related inquiries and assist with account resolution
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and confidentiality standards
  • Provide general administrative and front office support
