About The Position

Am-Tran is a trusted Bay Area courier company based in San Mateo, providing reliable on-demand and scheduled delivery services throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. We specialize in the safe and timely transportation of medical specimens, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare supplies that support hospitals, laboratories, and medical providers every day. We're seeking a dependable and customer-focused Part-Time Medical Courier Driver to join our weekend team in San Jose. As a medical courier, you'll play a vital role in supporting patient care by ensuring critical medical items are delivered safely, accurately, and on time. This position includes the use of a company-provided vehicle.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of customer service experience
Clean driving record (MVR required)
Experience driving throughout the San Francisco Bay Area
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Comfortable using smartphones, mobile apps, and GPS navigation
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

Pick up and deliver medical specimens and supplies while maintaining package integrity and chain of custody
Navigate efficient routes using GPS and mobile technology
Communicate delivery status and updates with dispatch through mobile applications
Provide exceptional customer service at pickup and delivery locations
Maintain a professional appearance and represent Am-Tran positively
Keep your company vehicle clean, organized, and well-maintained
