About The Position
The Resident Medical Doctor participates in a three-year residency training program affiliated with Centra and the University of Virginia. Residents are credentialed by the Centra Medical Staff Office and possess temporary privileges at Virginia Baptist Hospital and Lynchburg General Hospital. Each Resident has a faculty advisor and is under the direct supervision of the Residency Program Director. Residents diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases and injuries at the Lynchburg Family Medicine Residency practice under supervision.
Requirements
- Must be a Medical Doctor.
- Must participate in a three-year residency training program.
- Must be under the direct supervision of the Residency Program Director.
- Must have a faculty advisor.
