About The Position

The Medical Referral Specialist - PACE provides a variety of office and administrative support services including greeting and coordinating patient referrals, assisting with insurance screening, processing referrals, and performing other general office duties. This role serves as a liaison between participants, caregivers, providers, specialists, and insurance representatives to facilitate seamless care coordination.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent required
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year scheduling experience in a health care setting
• Experience with using electronic health record (EHR)
• Additional fluency in other languages is valued

Responsibilities

• Greeting and coordinating patient referrals
• Assisting with insurance screening
• Processing referrals
• Performing other general office duties
• Serving as a liaison between participants, caregivers, providers, specialists, and insurance representatives to facilitate seamless care coordination
