About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time Medical Records Supervisor to join their team at Jackson Correctional Institution in Malone, Florida. This role is responsible for directing, planning, coordinating, and administering the written and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) program. The supervisor will oversee department operations, ensure complete and accurate healthcare records, manage medical records staff, and maintain the confidentiality of healthcare records.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Three (3) years of supervisory experience in medical records setting preferred
- Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred
