Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in medical records or healthcare administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in medical records processing or health information management preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare regulations.
- Proficient in using EMR systems and basic computer software.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Responsibilities
- Retrieve medical documents using our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and protect patient confidentiality.
- Respond to requests for medical records from patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
