Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school with the equivalent of a graduating diploma.
• College and/or Medical Billing/Coding schooling required or must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Nice To Haves

• Prior training desirable but not necessary.
• Experience in Long Term Care field preferred.
• RHIT credential is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all medical records in the facility for proper order and completeness.
• Prepare admissions and re-admission chart records both hard copy and electronic.
• Complete audits and validation reports communicating all findings to DON.
• Maintain the records of all discharged residents in proper order.
