About The Position
Riverdale Post Acute is seeking a Medical Records Director to join their team. This role is crucial in ensuring the appropriate organization and retention of medical records and other services as needed. Riverdale Post Acute is a skilled nursing facility dedicated to helping patients live strong, healthy lives through the collaborative efforts of its professional nursing staff and therapists.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable of medical terminology
- Knowledgeable in computers, data retrieval, input and output functions
- Knowledgeable in legal aspects of health information, coding, indexing, etc.
- Experience with ICD-10
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility a plus
- A working knowledge of anatomy and physiology preferred, but not required.
