About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time, evening shift, Medical Records Clerk to join their team at Bledsoe County Correctional Complex in Pikeville, Tennessee. The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for initiating and maintaining offender health records, responding to requests for health records, and performing clerical duties. This role works closely with healthcare staff to ensure maintenance and accountability for offender health records to support continuity of care.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
- Computer/Data Entry experience
Nice To Haves
- One year of medical office experience preferred
- Current CPR Certification
- Medical Records/Mental Health/Administrative Assistant experience preferred
- Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred
