About The Position

The Orthopaedic Center is looking for a highly motivated Medical Records Clerk. This opening is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. The Medical Records Clerk will work in the Medical Records Department and complete an array of tasks such as reviewing incoming documents for accuracy to assisting with walk-in patient requests for medical records/CDs. The Medical Records Clerk must be able to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff.

Requirements

  • HS/GED
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all medical records
  • Proficient in computer programs
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask and meet deadlines
  • Outstanding organizational, time management and writing skills
  • Ability to speak clearly and concisely
  • Independent, self-starting and highly motivated
  • Initiative and self-discipline
  • Proven positive, “teamwork” attitude and work history
