About The Position
Centurion is seeking a full-time, evening shift, Medical Records Clerk to join their team at Bledsoe County Correctional Complex in Pikeville, Tennessee. This role is responsible for initiating and maintaining offender health records, responding to requests for health records, and performing clerical duties. The Medical Records Clerk works closely with healthcare staff to ensure the maintenance and accountability of offender health records to support continuity of care. The pay range for this position is $19 - $23 per hour, depending on experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current CPR Certification
- Medical terminology knowledge and/or medical terminology course completion preferred
- Computer/Data Entry experience
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- One year of medical office experience preferred
- Medical Records/Mental Health/Administrative Assistant experience preferred
