About The Position
USPI South Plains Endoscopy Center is seeking a motivated Medical Records Clerk to join their team. The center has 1 OR room and 3 treatment rooms, performing outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology. This position requires weekdays only, with no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required, and the schedule is subject to change based on the surgical schedule and the flow of the day.

Responsibilities
- Assembling and maintaining patient’s health information in medical records and charts.
- Ensuring all paper and electronic records are complete, properly identified, and signed.
- Copying, retrieving, and tracking medical records requests.
- Assembling charts for peer reviews.
- Conducting chart audits on a daily basis.
- Tracking dictations to assure all cases are dictated and following up with physicians regarding missing dictation of cases.
