Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Degree or GED in Clerical (Required)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic computer Keyboard skills
  • Knowledge of copier, fax, printer, phones
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to sort and file alphabetically

Responsibilities

  • Completes daily work reports / journal in order to account for productive hours and contributes to work standards and budgeting of the Department.
  • May stamp mail, distribute incoming mail/faxes into mailboxes, empties shuttle and distributes Outcomes may include, Completing FMLA forms, disability forms, attorney requests, and insurance requests.
  • Pulls, refile charts, routes paperwork, to appropriate locations, responds to phone calls and maintains faxes in a timely manner.
  • Receives and completes release of patient information in compliance of HIPPA and Department policy.
  • Receives and completes release of patient information in compliance with HIPAA and department policies.
