This role is a float position supporting clinics in Forest Hills, Jamaica Ave, Pennsylvania Ave, and Ridgewood. The Medical Receptionist will balance patient needs with efficient office workflow, support physicians before, during, and after medical procedures, and ensure an excellent patient service experience.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Experience in a high-volume customer-facing role, required.
Previous receptionist, front-desk, administrative, or customer service experience, required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and administrative software, required.
Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required.

Nice To Haves

Experience with scheduling, records management, data entry, insurance verification, or billing support is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet patients, escort to examination rooms, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate patient records.
Verify insurance information and support billing-related processes.
Perform data entry and administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
Utilize Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and EMR/EHR systems.
Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Prepare patients and procedure rooms, assist with room turnover, and provide post-procedure instructions.
Support bilingual patient communication when applicable.
