Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative functions within the medical office.
  • Schedule patient appointments.
  • Follow corporate protocol for patient check-in and patient check-out.
  • Understand collection procedures.
  • Verify multiple insurance packages.
  • Complete medical records requests in a timely manner.
  • Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service skills when dealing with patients, families, outside vendors, co-workers, and physicians.
  • Prepare for next day appointments and notify patients of any appointment delays.
  • Dress neatly and appropriately in compliance with dress code.
  • Travel to other clinics as requested to prevent staffing shortages.
  • Assist co-workers during downtime.
  • Assist in all other duties as assigned.
