ABOUT ONSPOT DERMATOLOGY At OnSpot Dermatology, we're transforming the way dermatology is delivered. As a leader in mobile healthcare, we bring comprehensive dermatology services directly to patients through our fleet of fully equipped 40-foot mobile medical clinics that serve communities throughout Florida. As we've continued to grow, we've expanded beyond our mobile practice by opening brick-and-mortar offices to better serve our patients with additional access to high-quality dermatologic care. This position is located exclusively in our Bradenton office and is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a traditional clinical setting while being part of an innovative company that's changing the future of healthcare. THE OPPORTUNITY We're looking for a friendly, organized, and patient-focused Front Desk Medical Receptionist to create an exceptional experience for every patient—from the moment they walk through our doors until they check out. As the first point of contact, you'll play an essential role in ensuring our office operates efficiently while providing compassionate, professional customer service.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office or customer service role (dermatology experience preferred but not required)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and highly organized
  • Passion for providing outstanding patient care and customer service
  • Must be available to work every Saturday

Nice To Haves

  • dermatology experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and exceptional customer service
  • Check patients in and out while ensuring demographic and insurance information is accurate
  • Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays, balances, and product payments
  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling, rescheduling, and general inquiries
  • Maintain an organized appointment schedule and communicate any delays or changes
  • Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure a smooth patient flow
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
  • Help create a welcoming, organized, and positive office environment
