About The Position

Heart of America Eyecare P.A. is a fun, fast paced, lively surgeon's office seeking a Medical Receptionist. They are committed to providing the highest quality of comprehensive eye care and offering the latest treatment options. This is a Monday - Friday, Day Shift position with no weekends or holidays. Occasional travel to Overland Park and Belton practices is expected.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Answering phone calls from patients, referring doctors and vendors
• Having face to face interactions with patients to verify demographic and health insurance information
• Updating data in an Electronic Health Record
• Collecting payments of all types including cash, checks, and credit cards
• Prepping paperwork, mailings, and clerical duties
• Scheduling appointments and managing the office schedule
