About The Position

Your primary focus on the team is to be responsible for patient interaction, answering the phone, scheduling, patient data entry and general administration duties in the clinic. This position requires the ability to deal tactfully with patients, family members, insurance, and the general public. Experience with insurance, patient or customer service and healthcare is preferred. In addition, a portion of this position will be assisting in the clinic with patients. You will be directly relating to patients to ensure they are comfortable and feel welcome. Assist the clinicians in their day to day work. You will also be anticipating clinic needs such as maintaining cleanliness and ensuring equipment is in working order and ready for use.

Requirements

  • Must be available to work during the hours of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.
  • Front desk experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to be welcoming and to put people at ease.
  • High level of proficiency with computers and Microsoft programs.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize various patient, clinician, and clinic needs.
  • Detail oriented and a need to make sure that every detail is correct.
  • Strong people and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with insurance, patient or customer service and healthcare is preferred.
  • Previous front desk and insurance experience preferred.
