Medical Receptionist - High Risk Pregnancy
About The Position
The High Risk Pregnancy Center of Kansas City is a privately owned Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist with referrals from 17 counties throughout Kansas and Missouri. Patients and obstetrical providers rely on our office to treat expecting mothers who have pre-existing medical conditions prior to pregnancy and care for the health of the fetus through the performance of ultrasounds. We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to play a crucial role in facilitating our patient's experience within our office. This will include check-in/check-out, collecting payments, scheduling, processing referrals and communicating with referring offices.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- At least one year of relevant experience and/or training in a medical office
- A welcoming, friendly personality with customer service orientation
- Ability to utilize critical thinking while multi-tasking and collaborating with patients, providers, staff, and referring offices.
- Pre-Employment drug screening is required.
