Medical Receptionist

Tru Medical Management•New York, NY
•$21 - $24•Onsite

About The Position

Tru Medical is an award-winning adult primary care practice serving East Williamsburg and Clinton Hill in Brooklyn. We are a NYS-accredited Patient-Centered Medical Home, a multi-year insurance quality award winner, and our patients rate us 4.87 stars. Our providers offer primary care, women's health, chronic care for diabetes and hypertension, ultrasound, walk-in visits and telemedicine. Our mission is Quality Affordable Care for All. Many of our patients are Spanish-speaking, and for a lot of them we are the first office where someone listened. We are small enough that providers and managers know your name, and we are growing, so people who live our values move up. Our work environment is based on Trust, Respect, and Understanding, which are practiced daily through active listening, knowing patients by name, helping others even when they are having a difficult day, asking for help when needed, knowing when to step away from a heated situation, and taking initiative to help teammates. This role is not suitable for individuals who prefer to strictly adhere to their job description, take patient frustration personally, avoid asking questions or admitting mistakes, use downtime for personal phone use, or are looking for a short-term position.
