A Patient Coordinator is trained to act as the first point of contact for our patients where they set the tone for the patient’s visit through excellent patient care. This employee will also perform the necessary administrative responsibilities needed to create a smooth check-in/out experience for patients. The role involves facilitating patient flow, verifying medical and vision insurances, and effectively communicating with patients, doctors, and managers. Responsibilities include answering inquiries through phone, email, and in-person requests, providing exceptional customer service, practicing urgency with patients' and doctors' time, managing patient flow, knowing common fees and collecting payments, completing daily reconciliations, and performing general office duties.
