About The Position

One Medical is a primary care solution that provides in-office and virtual care, on-site labs, and programs for preventive care, chronic care management, common illnesses, and mental health. Since joining Amazon in February 2023, One Medical has continued to grow its healthcare services and team. The Medical Receptionist, internally known as a Member Support Specialist, serves as an in-office ambassador for patients and helps remove barriers to care. The role is responsible for creating an exceptional patient experience, maintaining the appearance and feel of the office lobby, receiving patient feedback, and providing other support requested by the Practice Coordinator, Operations Manager, or in-office providers. The position calls for strong service orientation, communication, empathy, problem-solving, adaptability, and collaboration. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, in-person role at the Union Station office in Washington, DC. Eight-hour shifts generally fall between Monday and Friday, 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The base pay is $21.50 per hour.
