We are seeking a Medical Receptionist with excellent administrative skills and a passion for concierge-level customer service. You will be the crucial first point of contact for our Health Center, responsible for managing the patient flow, coordinating records, and supporting the clinical team. 4 day work week! This is a full-time, 38 hour per week, benefit-eligible opportunity.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required.
  • Minimum two years of administrative assistant experience in a medical office setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
  • Proficiency in grammar, spelling, and punctuation for correspondence and reports.
  • Strong organizational skills, including time management, prioritization, multitasking, and problem-solving.
  • Skill in operating standard office equipment.

Nice To Haves

  • A diploma as a Medical Administrative Assistant from an accredited vocational course preferred.
  • Minimum one year of recent experience in a medical setting is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet, screen, schedule, and check patients in and out efficiently.
  • Perform medical receptionist duties, including answering the telephone, screening calls, taking messages, and providing necessary information.
  • Obtain, verify, and update patient information.
  • Request, locate, send, and receive patient medical records.
  • Maintain files, assist in establishing office systems, order office and clinical supplies, and assist in the care and maintenance of office equipment.
  • Provide necessary support services to patients and medical staff.
