About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic proficiency with computer systems and electronic health record (EHR) software.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and check in patients upon arrival, verifying personal and insurance information.

  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries regarding services, appointments, and policies.
  • Maintain patient records with confidentiality and accuracy, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to communicate patient needs and update appointment statuses.
  • Process patient payments and assist with billing inquiries as needed.
  • Manage office supplies and ensure the reception area is organized and welcoming.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and preparing patient charts.
