Medical Receptionist

This role as a Medical Receptionist involves balancing patient needs with efficient office workflow, supporting physicians before, during, and after medical procedures, and ensuring an excellent patient service experience.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year experience as a receptionist, preferably in the medical or dental field
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English required.
- Float position supporting our clinics, at Chelsea, Lenox Hill, Manhattan on 1st Avenue and Lower Manhattan.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and escort them to the examination rooms; assist patients with the completion of forms as necessary
- Schedule appointments and accommodate patient appointment needs, such as ordering transportation, rescheduling, etc.
- Comply with patient needs at all time and ensure all questions are answered
- Maintain procedure rooms by ensuring that they are neat and ready for use at all times
- Prepare patients before procedures and clean up after
- Ensure patient receipt of post-procedure instructions and how to obtain medication if needed
- Monitor supply levels and replace inventory
- Additional duties as assigned
