About The Position

The Makovicka Physical Therapy Team strives to provide an atmosphere where we can focus on outstanding service through employee engagement and organizational growth, and to create a welcoming and friendly environment. This position requires the ability to deal tactfully with patients, family members, insurance, and the general public. In addition, there is a high degree of physical movement throughout the day. This position will have a mix of active patient interaction and administrative duties in the clinic.

Requirements

• Enjoy moving and working with patients
• Ability to multitask and prioritize various patient, clinician, and clinic needs
• Detail-oriented and a need to make sure that every detail is correct
• Strong people and communication skills
• Have a high level of proficiency with computers and Microsoft programs
• High School diploma desired

Nice To Haves

• Previous front desk and insurance experience preferred
• Experience with insurance, patient or customer service and healthcare is preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by welcoming and putting people at ease
• Ensure accurate patient records
• Assist physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care
• Manage and maintain the physical space of the clinic and equipment
• Help patients with exercises and mobility activities
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the team
