An Ophthalmic Technician is a valuable asset to an Ophthalmologist as they assist in providing excellent patient care to the patients during their visit. This employee is able to handle a wide range of duties while using equipment to perform the initial testing needed to prepare a patient for an exam with an Ophthalmologist. This role is PRN, meaning you will work anywhere from 1-4 days per week, typically always on Fridays, and may work on Mondays, Tuesdays, and/or Wednesdays as needed. Our offices are open Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, and you may need to work a little earlier/later as needed. Travel to other locations in the metro St Louis area may be required as needed, with mileage reimbursement provided.
