Desert Hand and Physical Therapy has an immediate opportunity for a full-time Bilingual(Spanish) Medical Receptionist (required) to join our fun and talented team. Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Must be bilingual in Spanish
• Excellent telephone skills
• Proficient in Word and Excel
• Team player attitude, energetic, with a focus on excellent customer service
• Flexibility with hours
• Attention to detail
• Time management skills
• Organization and ability to multi-task

Nice To Haves

• Preferred experience with Medical Manager, Medisoft, or other medical software

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients and providing outstanding customer service
• Coordinating the care for each patient from initial evaluation to discharge
• Answering phones
• Electronic scheduling
• Data entry
• Verifying current personal and financial information
• Verifying insurance and maintaining authorizations necessary for care
• Maintaining patient charts and electronic medical records
• Collecting, posting, and depositing patient payments
• Faxing, filing, and performing any other duties as assigned
