About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred but not required.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification as a Medical Receptionist or Medical Administrative Assistant.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate medical personnel.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely patient flow and address any administrative issues.
  • Process patient payments and handle billing inquiries as needed.
  • Ensure the reception area is organized, clean, and stocked with necessary forms and materials.
