About The Position

A healthcare organization is seeking a Medical Radiologic Technologist to join its outpatient radiology team. The full-time role involves general X-rays, DEXA scans, and C-arm imaging in an operating room. Experienced technologists and new graduates are welcome to apply. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

Associate degree in Medical Radiography.
Current ARRT certification.
Active state license, as required.
Other certifications may be required depending on the specialty area.
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Nice To Haves

New Radiologic Technologist graduates are welcome to apply.
One to two years of experience as a radiologic technologist is preferred.
Outpatient radiology experience is a plus.
Experience with C-arm imaging in the operating room is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform general X-rays and DEXA scans, and assist with C-arm imaging in the operating room.
Review physicians’ orders and prepare patients for imaging examinations.
Position patients correctly and use devices to help keep them still when needed.
Operate radiology equipment and adjust settings to obtain clear images.
Review images for quality and accuracy.
Follow radiation safety rules and minimize radiation exposure.
Use sterile techniques when operating C-arm equipment during surgery.
Follow applicable rules, regulations, and standards.
Use PACS, RIS, and other electronic imaging systems.
Monitor equipment and perform regular checks.
Arrange equipment maintenance and repairs when needed.
Keep imaging areas clean, organized, and stocked.
Collaborate with radiology staff and other healthcare team members.
