The role requires superior patient care and outstanding communication skills while adhering to the hospital’s standards of excellence. The position includes assisting physicians with endoscopic procedures, including use of the technology and procedural tools needed for various cases. It may require wearing respiratory protection, which may prohibit facial hair. Hospital positions may be subject to changes in pass days and shifts as needed. The hospital is a smoke-free environment, and smoking is prohibited anywhere on campus, including parking lots and outdoor areas. Before starting, the selected candidate must pass a pre-employment physical examination and receive medical clearance, complete an electronic reference check with at least three professional references, pass a four-panel drug screen, meet regulatory pre-employment screening requirements, and provide copies of required New York State licenses or certificates. Failure to meet these requirements may delay the start date or revoke the offer. The hiring department is responsible for examination fees. The salary offer will be determined based on verified years of relevant, comparable experience.
