About The Position

The Medical Radiation Technologist performs a variety of specialized diagnostic technical procedures utilizing radiation equipment for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. The specialty disciplines for this role include Mammography, Angiography (IR), and Computerized Tomography (CT). This is a full-time temporary position at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital in Moose Jaw, within the Mammography Department, with an expected end date of February 06, 2027. Requirements

  • Twenty-four (24) months previous experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist
  • Medical Radiologic Technology Advanced diploma
  • Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists license
  • College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan license
  • Mammography training/certificate, as required
  • Computerized Tomography training/certificate, as required
  • Angiography training/certificate, as required
  • Communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Basic - Computer skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Certified by Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Registered with College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Professionals of SK
  • Valid driver's license, where required
  • Valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) dated within six (6) months and including a vulnerable sector search (required for interview)
  • Upload all relevant documents (certificates, diplomas, proof of enrollment, licenses and/or memberships) relating to the qualifications of the position
