Bayshore Medical Personnel is seeking a Medical Radiation Technologist to support our federal client on a part-time basis in Abbotsford, British Columbia. The opportunity is for 1 to 2 shifts per week, with a shift typically being 3 hours long. The Medical Radiation Technologist must generate X-rays in order to visualize the internal structures of a patient based on a legal treatment order in accordance with clinically acceptable standards, for the diagnosis, treatment and management of client illnesses. Complete the ordered tests, transfer the images to portable media, and prepare them for transport in order for them to be interpreted. Liaise closely with the Chief(s) of Health Services (CHS) to ensure coordination of service provision and must provide feedback on any issues of service needs, inadequacies related to equipment, pertinent safety concerns, Community standards of practice, and Quality improvement initiatives.
