About The Position

Performs a variety of specialized diagnostic technical procedures utilizing radiation equipment for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. Specialty disciplines are: ♦ Mammography ♦ Angiography (IR) ♦ Computerized Tomography (CT) The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, employing more than 45,000 staff in a dynamic healthcare environment. Requirements

  • Twenty-four (24) months previous experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist
  • Medical Radiologic Technology Advanced diploma
  • Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan
  • Angiography training/certificate, as required
  • Mammography training/certificate, as required
  • Computerized Tomography training/certificate, as required
  • Communication skills
  • Basic - Computer skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Registered with College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Professionals of SK
  • Registered with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Certified by Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Valid driver's license, where required
