About The Position

Performs a variety of specialized diagnostic technical procedures utilizing radiation equipment for the diagnosis and tracking of disease and pathology. Specialty disciplines include Mammography, Angiography (IR), and Computerized Tomography (CT). Requirements

  • Twenty-four (24) months previous experience as a Medical Radiation Technologist
  • Medical Radiologic Technology Advanced diploma
  • Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Professionals of Saskatchewan
  • Computerized Tomography training/certificate, as required
  • Angiography training/certificate, as required
  • Mammography training/certificate, as required
  • Communication skills
  • Basic - Computer skills
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Registered with College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Professionals of SK
  • Registered with Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Certified by Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists
  • Applicants without full qualifications shall be considered if they have: Medical Radiation Technology Diploma, Certified by Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists, Registration w/ Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists, Registered w/ Saskatchewan Association of MRT
