Perform Computed Tomography (CT) procedures in accordance with applicable legislation, clinical standards, and departmental procedures, and adhere to the standards of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO). This role involves operating CT equipment, performing quality control, obtaining patient history, documenting information, coordinating daily schedules, and performing a full range of CT procedures while adhering to radiation safety practices. The technologist will evaluate exams for quality and accuracy, maintain records, collaborate with healthcare teams, follow infection control protocols, and contribute to patient care improvement. Additionally, the role includes assisting with student education, participating in improvement projects aligned with the organization's strategic plan, and engaging in relevant health and safety training.
