About The Position
Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Part Time Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant to join their team in Concord, NC. This role involves providing direct care and ensuring the systematic provision of clinical care and social services that meet agency client engagement expectations. The Medical Provider will work effectively and collaboratively with the Program Director, Clinical Director, clinical staff, health plans, and community stakeholders. This position entails meeting with clients struggling with Substance Abuse Disorder and various Mental Health Disorders.
Requirements
- Active medical license in appropriate state
- One year of experience in a substance use disorder treatment setting
- Must possess direct clinical training and work in the areas of substance use disorder treatment
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to problem solve by gathering and analyzing information
- Ability to handle a crisis situation and react appropriately
- A working knowledge of federal and state standards as well as regulating body standards.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct care to clients
- Consults with primary healthcare providers to ensure physical healthcare needs of clients are met
- Coordinates with medical staff of other providers such as state and inpatient facilities.
