Because you’re someone who loves to learn, enjoys people, and has a real heart to help, we encourage you to join us as a: Medical Professional, EMT-Basic This is What You’ll Do • Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments, and informed consent discussions in accordance with SOPs, FDA, CLIA, and cGMP. • Review, document, and verify donor information, immunization records, and test results in the donor management system (NexLynk). • Classify donors into appropriate programs and monitor for adverse reactions, providing care as allowed by training and licensure. • Consult with the center Licensed Physician regarding abnormal results, donor eligibility concerns, and immunization orders. • Counsel deferred donors, ensure confidentiality, and refer donors to health departments when needed. • Maintain accurate documentation such as Physician Communication Logs and donor eligibility assessments. • Train as a Donor Center Technician I and serve as a QA Backup when needed. • Mentor and train new Medical Professionals as a Designated Trainer to support workforce development. • Support center compliance with SOPs, quality systems, and regulatory requirements. • Collaborate with team members to ensure an efficient, donor-focused environment. • Perform other duties as assigned. This is What it Takes • Current, valid state license/certification (Physician, RN, LPN, EMT, or equivalent as allowed by state). • Current CPR certification. • State-issued authorization or license to perform moderate complexity testing.
