About The Position
Baptist Health is hiring a Medical Physicist to join our Radiation Oncology team at Baptist MD Anderson in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time day shift opportunity. Requirements
- 1-2 Years Clinical Experience Required
- Masters Degree Required
- Board Certifications Required
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with Radiation Oncologists and Medical Dosimetrists to design complex radiation therapy plans
- Performing initial and ongoing weekly reviews of patient treatment charts, beam calibration calculations, and computer treatment plans
- Direct clinical involvement during high precision or specialized radiation treatments (HDR, brachytherapy, SRS)
- Performing daily, monthly, and annual quality control calibrations on linear accelerators and CT simulators.
- Ensuring facility operations adhere to Florida Administrative Code for control of radiation and Florida DoH standards.
