About The Position

APPS Paramedical Services is seeking dependable, detail-oriented, currently or previously certified or licensed healthcare professionals to conduct health examinations, testing (venipunctures, EKG's etc), and personal health interviews for the life insurance industry. This is a 1099G (Independent Contractor) position, offering flexibility in scheduling and hours. APPS is the nation’s largest and most technologically advanced health examination and information provider, serving leading life insurance companies.

Requirements

Previous certification/licensure or commensurate experience is required.
Must have one year of recent phlebotomy experience and completed a minimum of 100 successful draws.
Valid driver’s license, and own transportation with valid insurance.
The position requires excellent communication, organization, and technical skills: the interpersonal skills to interface extensively with clients, management, and office staff, as well as a high level of courtesy, tact, and professionalism.
The candidate must also have a computer (preferably a laptop with camera or a tablet and a mobile phone.
Documentation standards are of paramount importance, any resume submitted with incorrect grammar or multiple spelling errors will not be considered.

Responsibilities

Performing mobile paramedical healthcare exams (health history, vitals, obtain and complete specimens: blood, urine, etc.).
Non-interpretive ECG tracings.
The ability to self-schedule your caseload; APPS sends you the case. you accept or decline - it's YOUR business
Must have strong and continued communication with the regional office's friendly staff regarding case status or any issues, needs, conflicts that arise.
