Medical Optometrist with OD/MD Practice
About The Position
Grand Rapids Ophthalmology, a member of the EyeCare Partners family, is seeking a full-time Medical Optometrist to join our new Kalamazoo location. This is an exciting opportunity to practice in a collaborative, physician-led environment while helping launch a new satellite office serving Southwest Michigan. The role focuses on medical optometry only, including medical eye care and post-operative visits, with a Monday-Friday schedule and no weekends. You will work alongside rotating Retina, Comprehensive, and Glaucoma Ophthalmologists. The practice utilizes NextGen EMR and involves shared call responsibilities (approximately 1 in 10 weekends, telephone triage only).
Requirements
- Full-time Medical Optometrist
- OD/MD Practice
- Medical optometry experience
- Ability to work in a collaborative, physician-led environment
- Proficiency with NextGen EMR
