About The Position
Vision Innovation Partners (VIP), a leading multi-specialty ophthalmology group, is excited to invite an enthusiastic and skilled Medical Ophthalmologist to join our Newark, Delaware practice, Eye Care of Delaware. Become part of our dedicated, experienced team of 4 ophthalmologists, 2 optometrists, and support staff. This role offers immediate patient volume in an established practice with strong referral patterns and a busy patient schedule from day one. You will join one of the region's most respected ophthalmology practices with a longstanding reputation for clinical excellence. The position provides convenient access to a dedicated ambulatory surgery center designed to support efficient, high-quality surgical care. You will work alongside experienced technicians, scribes, diagnostic staff, optometrists, and ophthalmologists in a collaborative environment, utilizing modern diagnostic and surgical equipment. Mentorship and collaboration with a highly experienced multi-specialty ophthalmology team are key aspects of this role. Flexible scheduling options are available to support both professional success and personal wellbeing.
Requirements
- Graduated (or pending graduation) from an accredited school.
- Active or eligible for licensure.
- Board certified or eligible.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care using advanced diagnostic and surgical equipment.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced technicians, scribes, diagnostic staff, optometrists, and ophthalmologists.
- Participate in a collaborative environment focused on clinical excellence.
- Utilize an onsite, company-owned Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) for surgical care.
