About The Position

The IMA Group is looking for a highly organized Medical Operations Assistant to support our growing Occupational Health team. This primarily remote role is ideal for someone with a Medical Assistant background who enjoys problem-solving, training others, and collaborating across multiple clinic locations. Occasional travel may be required to support business needs. We are unable to consider applicants residing in California, Colorado, Washington, New York City, or Chicago at this time.

Requirements

• Medical Assistant training or education required.
• 1–2 years of Medical Assistant or healthcare operations experience.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while collaborating with teams across multiple locations.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the National Medical Operations Manager to support occupational health operations across multiple locations.
• Serve as a liaison between clinic staff, clients, and vendors to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.
• Assist with onboarding and launching new occupational health clients.
• Help train and support medical staff on workflows, procedures, and best practices.
• Participate in Medical Operations Committee meetings and contribute to process improvements.
• Troubleshoot daily operational, clinical, and billing issues, including lab services, E-Screen, and occupational health processes.
• Coordinate routine inspection and calibration of medical equipment.
• Travel occasionally to provide onsite support and training when needed.
