Requirements
- Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited program required
- Current and valid Connecticut RN license.
- Minimum of 1 year in an acute inpatient setting.
- BLS or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.

- BSN preferred
Responsibilities
- Continuously assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document clinical progress.
- Deliver oncology-specific treatments with attention to accurate dosing, monitoring, and documentation.
- Provide clear, empathetic education on diagnoses, treatments, and self-care strategies.
- Partner with physicians and healthcare teams to monitor neurological status, cognitive function, motor skills, and sensory responses.
Benefits
- RN Step Program pay range: $36.15 to $59.95.
