The Medical Office Receptionist will provide office support including reception, scheduling, and patient assistance duties at designated points of service within the Outpatient Headache Clinic to ensure a high-quality level of patient service and satisfaction. This role involves greeting patients and visitors, referring them to appropriate departments, notifying resources of arrivals, verifying patient demographics and eligibility, handling telephone calls, registering new patients, scheduling and rescheduling appointments, collecting co-pays and balances, responding to patient inquiries, communicating with other departments and healthcare professionals, performing clerical duties, operating standard office machines, potentially assisting with medical records, and maintaining a neat and professional work area. The position also involves adhering to all NCH standards, policies, and procedures.
