About The Position

Responsible for maintaining buildings and properties in accordance with approved cleaning solutions and healthcare cleaning standards. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks, sanitizing restrooms, managing waste disposal, and maintaining janitorial closets. The Medical Office Cleaner must adhere strictly to all health and safety guidelines, infection control protocols, and company policies related to cleaning in medical environments.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Knowledge of inventory software, and GPS.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

Responsible for the general upkeep and cleanliness of all areas within the medical office including lobbies, exam rooms, restrooms, offices, and hallways with approved cleaning solutions.
Performs routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces in accordance with healthcare cleaning standards.
Cleans and sanitizes restrooms thoroughly, including sinks, toilets, mirrors, and replenishes soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue as needed.
Empties trash and recycling receptacles throughout the facility and replaces liners. Ensure proper disposal of medical and non-medical waste as directed.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of janitorial closets and ensure cleaning supplies are properly stored and labeled.
Adheres strictly to all health and safety guidelines, infection control protocols, and company policies related to cleaning in medical environments.
