About The Position

Provide administrative coverage at the front desk of the Clinic including monitoring the clinic appointment line to schedule appointments for clients from outside medical, hospital, and correction systems. Answer multiline telephones, take payments from clients for clinical services, complete client registration and documentation, and schedule interpreters for clients. Retrieve billing charges. This position is responsible for the efficient operations of the physician medical office, including scheduling, patient registration, telephone triage, medical records, billing, and collections. It also involves coordinating and participating in daily clinic preparation, patient identification, check-in/out, charge posting, cash management, and appointment scheduling. The role also includes customer service, message distribution, ancillary scheduling and preparation, and referrals management.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency plus one year of patient care experience in a health care facility
  • Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant course at an accredited institution or equivalent training
  • EMT or Paramedic certification
  • Bachelor's degree
