About The Position

A podiatry Nail Technician is an essential member of the patient-centered healthcare team. Under the supervision of a podiatrist or physician carries out and assists with routine nail and foot care for patients in an ambulatory medical clinic setting. Main focus of job is toenail trimming and callus removal.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months of routine foot and toenail care experience in a medical clinic or salon setting.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a licensed nail technician or cosmetologist program.
• State of WI license as a cosmetologist or a manicurist.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Medical Assistant experience is preferred.
